Megan-Ogle

I provide psychotherapy to individual adults of all genders, ages 18-80+. In psychotherapy, I work with people having a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, anger, chronic pain, family conflict, trauma, identity formation, and personality issues. My areas of specialty include social and relationship dynamics, grief and loss, and issues of spirituality (both questioning and growth). In terms of life stage specialties, I frequently work with college and graduate school students, as well as parents navigating challenges brought up for them in the childrearing process. I work especially well with persons who are curious about themselves and their ways of interacting with the world.

While I do provide short-term therapy, my passion is in long-term depth-oriented psychotherapy. (See “About Psychotherapy” to read more about this) This type of therapy has been demonstrated as particularly effective with clients navigating personality disorders, chronic depression, persistent relationship difficulties, and complex issues such as trauma and childhood abuse.

In my therapeutic style and in my life, I have a deep appreciation for individual and cultural diversity, and a commitment to convey both care and honest authenticity to the people with whom I interact. I really do admire my clients for their courage to seek change. My hope is that we can partner together to find ways for you to grow and root in your life.

I am licensed as a psychologist in the state of Oregon. I received my Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology in California. Prior to private practice, I worked as a therapist in the Center for Student Health and Counseling at Portland State University. My clinical services have spanned ages 0-65 in outpatient, school, and hospital settings. I am also able to conduct assessments, including learning disorder, ADHD, and early childhood developmental testing.
